How Do We Start Supreme Bliss Tantra Training - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Though we're happy to come to you, we typically invite you into our Tantrically-decorated living room in our secluded mountain home. If the weather's cold, our wood stove makes the room very toasty as well as romantic. To begin, we first get your help in creating the right kind of environment -- physically, emotionally, and spiritually -- which we call a sacred space. This is more than artwork, incense, and sensual music. You inner space is even more important. After explaining our agenda, we get your input in your objectives, your comfort zone, and your feelings. Then together we call in the kind of attitudes, emotions, and energies we agree on. This is a lesson you'll take home with you. The place you make love, the time you take for relationship, the mindset that you wear greatly influences what you experience. Almost always, we, Jeffre and Somraj, teach together so that our clients, whether male, female, or couple, get the benefit of both masculine and feminine input. Do you walk in, take off your clothes, and have sex with strangers? No, far from it. We'll talk a little bit about what we've planned and you'll tell us what you want to change about sex, love, and spirit. Though we'll ask you to talk openly and reverently about sex like we do, we'd rather DO things than talk. Supreme Bliss Tantra is more about getting into your body and out of head. The best way to learn this is by focusing on your senses. So we may start by offering you quick samples of different kinds of aromas, tastes, sounds, sights, and touch in our Sensory Delight Ritual. No reason to worry about doing anything too crazy here. Tantric Touch is a foundation of our training, where you learn to caress your beloved's face, neck, arm for starters. We'll show you how to put all your attention on what you're feeling, move very gently, and go very slowly. Then you get to practice feeling imaginary sparks jump from your fingertips to your sweetheart's skin. It's up to each of you how much skin you want to expose. How do we teach relaxing? It takes more than just telling yourself to relax your muscles. For example, we may ask you to lie on your back on the floor fully-clothed. In five minutes of our Limb Release Exercise, three or four people each will gently shake your arms and legs. With so much sensory input, you just have to let go of mental control and enjoy. Another part of learning to harness your sexual energy is by strengthening your sexual muscles. In each day of Supreme Bliss Tantra training, you usually get to experience two or three major practices, plus several shorter activities and focused discussions. In addition to Tantric Touch and Sensory Delight, some examples of major practices for new students would include: - Orgasmic Breathing (harnessing what happens to your metabolism during orgasm), - Heart Wave (synchronizing your hips, breath, and sound to draw energy to your hearts), and - Chakra Spooning (merging your subtle energy centers while lying together in a spooning position). These are the beginning. Practices for advanced students are definitely more erotic, but only when you're ready for them. Major practices begin with a short explanation. Then we demonstrate so you can see in action what we'll ask you to try. For many of the early exercises we're entirely clothed, but as we get into sensual and erotic massage in later stages, we're happy to take more off if you're comfortable. Once you've understood and seen the practice, it's your turn. You're welcome to do this with your partner (if you brought one) or with either of us if you choose. That is, after we've discussed and negotiated the Partnering Questions. One of the fundamentals we teach all students is to discuss three issues before any Tantric practice, loveplay, or uninhibited sex. We call these the Partnering Questions where you get to look inside and explain what you're desiring, what you're concerned about, and what clear-cut boundaries do you want to set for the experience.
